Megabonk Unlocks & Quests: How to Unlock Every Character, Weapon & Tome

Everything in Megabonk unlocks through quests. Finish a quest and its reward appears in the main-menu shop, where you buy it with Silver (some rewards are free). Characters are unlocked by buying their starting weapon. Total quests completed also unlock shop features: Refresh at 20, an extra weapon slot at 25, Skip at 30, an extra tome slot at 35 and Banish at 40.

Tips for unlocking faster
- Stack kill quests: Ogre's 15,000 Goblins, the Bloody Tome's 12,000 kills and the weapon kill quests all count during normal runs, so pick the matching weapon or character while you work on other goals.
- Tome-level quests (Damage Tome 7, Thorns Tome 9, Knockback 10, Precision 10, Luck 12, Bloody 12) are easiest when you take that tome first and upgrade it every chance you get.
- Silver Tome speeds up buying everything else; it is unlocked by default.
FAQ
How many quests are in Megabonk?
The Megabonk wiki listed 141 quests in November 2025: 18 for characters, 22 for weapons, 10 for tomes, 43 for items, 15 general, 13 challenge quests and 20 skin quests. The December 2025 updates added more (for example Big Bob and Spooky Steve unlocks).
How do you unlock the Desert map?
Teleport to the 2nd stage of Forest Tier 2 while playing CL4NK.
How do you unlock Refresh, Skip and Banish?
They are shop unlocks for total quests completed: Refresh at 20 quests, Skip at 30 and Banish at 40. The Extra Weapon Slot comes at 25 quests and the Extra Tome Slot at 35.
How do you get Silver?
Silver drops during runs (the Silver Tome adds +12% Silver Gain per common upgrade) and quests give small Silver rewards. You spend it in the main-menu shop on unlocks.
How do you unlock the Corrupted Sword?
Get the Cursed Tome to level 20 in under 10 minutes. It is Sir Chadwell's starting weapon, so you need it to unlock him.
