Azeroth Survivors Builds — Best Classes, Cards & Talent Routes

Updated · Game version checked: the build served at wow.aethus.pl on Oct 22, 2026 (alpha, changes often)

An Azeroth Survivors build is a capstone plus the cards you draft around it. Between runs you spend talent points in one tree until its capstone. During a run you hold six spells and six passives, and each level-up deals three cards. The routes below are editorial, checked against the game text as of Oct 22, 2026. The game has published no win rates.

How builds work

Talents and cards are different piles. Talent points are spent in the armory between runs, and a respec is free. Cards are the level-up choices inside a run. Checked against the game text as of Oct 22, 2026, a run works like this:

Capstone-first talent route

Each class has three trees. Each tree has two milestones and a capstone. The game's own progression text puts those nodes at 10, 20 and 30 points spent in that tree. The third node on each tree in the class guide is the capstone, and it is the one that can change the spell you start with. Our rule is to buy that capstone before spending in a second tree. Points in a second tree do not turn the first capstone on.

  1. Pick the tree in the table below and open it on the Talents tab between runs.
  2. Spend in that tree until the capstone. Read the 10- and 20-point milestones on the way. They are the effects the draft is there to feed.
  3. Draft the cards that capstone names the first time they appear. Rank them after the route's spells are in your six slots.
  4. Only then open a second tree. Respecs cost nothing, so a bad route is a button, not a new hero.

Feral Combat is the exception inside the rule. Its text lists two capstones, Dire Bear Form and Cat Form, and says you can't learn both. The route below takes Dire Bear Form.

Routes for all 9 classes

Editorial, Oct 22, 2026. Each row follows the talent strings in our class guide. Nothing here is a measured clear rate, a tier from a leaderboard, or a number the game did not print. Alpha balance moves between builds. Gear that adds the same kinds of stats is on the items page. The bosses those runs fight are on the bosses page.

Warrior: Fury

In game: "Unstoppable in the thick of it. Huge health, cleaving swings, and every kill feeds the fury."

Capstone to buy: Bladestorm. Bladestorm starts every run with Whirlwind and casts a free Whirlwind every 3 sec. Flurry makes Whirlwind and Bloodthirst hit twice, and Rampage adds another free Whirlwind as you kill. Draft those two ahead of the rest of the Warrior pool.

Capstone text: "You start every run with Whirlwind, and you never stop spinning: a free Whirlwind every 3 sec."

Core spell cards: Whirlwind, Bloodthirst.

Passives to take first: Damage and cooldown reduction. Fury's milestones add extra Whirlwinds; they do not mention critical strikes.

Full pool (11): Cleave, Whirlwind, Thunder Clap, Mortal Strike, Execute, Demoralizing Shout, Battle Shout, Bloodthirst, Rend, Shield Slam, Bloodrage. Every milestone in this tree: Warrior talents.

Paladin: Protection

In game: "Holy ground and righteous hammers. Heals himself, shrugs off death once in a while."

Capstone to buy: Hammer of the Righteous. Ardent Defender starts every run with Hammer of Justice, and Hallowed Ground turns a landed hammer into a free Consecration. The capstone also makes Hammer of Justice hit for a share of the target's health, and a broken shield bursts.

Capstone text: "Your maximum health is 15% higher, every spell you cast deals an extra 1% of your maximum health, Hammer of Justice also strikes for 1.5% of its target's maximum health, and a shield that breaks bursts in holy light: half of what it absorbed, up to half the most it held, strikes every enemy within 10 yd."

Core spell cards: Hammer of Justice, Consecration.

Passives to take first: Max health, then damage. The capstone raises maximum health by 15% and makes every spell deal a share of that health.

Full pool (11): Consecration, Exorcism, Hammer of Wrath, Holy Shock, Holy Wrath, Judgement, Hammer of Justice, Holy Light, Divine Shield, Holy Shield, Redemption. Every milestone in this tree: Paladin talents.

Hunter: Beast Mastery

In game: "Death from range. Arrows, traps and volleys, as long as you keep your distance."

Capstone to buy: Bestial Wrath. Bestial Wrath adds a raptor beside the wolf from Tame Beast, and those bites tear through two more enemies. Frenzy is the milestone that turns a bite into a free Multi-Shot. Auto Shot is the other slot worth filling: the wolf bites what you shoot, and Auto Shot is the basic shot in the Hunter pool.

Capstone text: "A raptor joins your wolf, and your pets' bites tear through 2 more enemies nearby for a set % of the bite."

Core spell cards: Multi-Shot, Auto Shot.

Passives to take first: Damage, then anything that adds targets. Pet bites already fire Multi-Shot and, at the capstone, hit two more enemies nearby.

Full pool (11): Auto Shot, Arcane Shot, Multi-Shot, Serpent Sting, Volley, Explosive Trap, Concussive Shot, Aimed Shot, Immolation Trap, Frost Trap, Hunter's Mark. Every milestone in this tree: Hunter talents.

Rogue: Combat

In game: "Fast, fragile and lethal. The quickest hero, with crits that delete elites."

Capstone to buy: Killing Spree. The Blade Flurry milestone sends Sinister Strike and Eviscerate to two more enemies. Adrenaline Rush is the free cooldown burst the next milestone grants. Killing Spree makes Sinister Strike hit more enemies and adds a free Sinister Strike every 3 sec. The class starts on Sinister Strike; this capstone keeps it.

Capstone text: "Sinister Strike strikes a set number of more enemy, and you strike on your own: a free Sinister Strike every 3 sec."

Core spell cards: Sinister Strike, Eviscerate, Adrenaline Rush.

Passives to take first: Damage and extra targets. Combat spreads Sinister Strike and Eviscerate and then adds still more Sinister Strikes. Its milestones do not ask for critical strikes.

Full pool (11): Sinister Strike, Eviscerate, Blade Flurry, Rupture, Kidney Shot, Gouge, Ghostly Strike, Adrenaline Rush, Backstab, Slice and Dice, Seal Fate. Every milestone in this tree: Rogue talents.

Priest: Shadow

In game: "Light and Shadow. Shields and heals keep you alive while pain spreads through the horde."

Capstone to buy: Shadowform. Shadowy Apparitions starts every run with Shadow Word: Pain instead of Smite, and its ticks can loose a free Mind Blast. Shadowform makes a dying target burst and pass the pain to the next enemy. Smite is the spell this route leaves behind.

Capstone text: "You take on Shadowform for the whole run, and when an enemy dies with Shadow Word: Pain on it, it bursts for a set % of its maximum health on everything within 6 yd and the pain jumps to the enemy nearest it."

Core spell cards: Shadow Word: Pain, Mind Blast.

Passives to take first: Damage first. Shadowform and Shadow Weaving key off Shadow Word: Pain, not off a critical strike. Take max health when you are dying; Discipline is the safer tree if that keeps happening.

Full pool (11): Smite, Shadow Word: Pain, Mind Blast, Holy Nova, Power Word: Shield, Renew, Holy Fire, Mind Flay, Psychic Scream, Devouring Plague, Lightwell. Every milestone in this tree: Priest talents.

Shaman: Elemental

In game: "Storms that jump from foe to foe, and totems that fight beside you."

Capstone to buy: Elemental Mastery. Elemental Mastery starts every run with Chain Lightning and casts a second one every 3 sec. Lightning Overload can cast Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning again for free. Those two cards are the whole route.

Capstone text: "You start every run with Chain Lightning, and a second Chain Lightning casts itself every 3 sec."

Core spell cards: Chain Lightning, Lightning Bolt.

Passives to take first: Damage, then extra targets or area. Elemental Fury already adds three jumps that lose no damage, so a passive that adds targets piles onto the same card.

Full pool (11): Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Earth Shock, Flame Shock, Frost Shock, Lightning Shield, Magma Totem, Searing Totem, Fire Nova, Healing Wave, Call of Flame. Every milestone in this tree: Shaman talents.

Mage: Frost

In game: "The glass cannon. The biggest area damage in Azeroth, and nothing to hide behind."

Capstone to buy: Summon Water Elemental. Summon Water Elemental starts every run with Frostbolt instead of Fireball, puts a Water Elemental at your side, and bursts a free Frost Nova every 8 sec. Frostbite freezes with your Frost spells, and Splitting Ice makes Frostbolt splash. Fireball is the spell this route replaces.

Capstone text: "You start every run with Frostbolt instead of Fireball. A Water Elemental fights at your side, hurling Frostbolts, and a free Frost Nova bursts from you every 8 sec."

Core spell cards: Frostbolt, Frost Nova.

Passives to take first: Damage, then max health. The class text calls the Mage a glass cannon, and this capstone is the freeze and the elemental you stand behind.

Full pool (13): Fireball, Frostbolt, Arcane Missiles, Frost Nova, Arcane Explosion, Blizzard, Flamestrike, Fire Blast, Cone of Cold, Blast Wave, Pyroblast, Ice Barrier, Polymorph. Every milestone in this tree: Mage talents.

Warlock: Demonology

In game: "Curses and fire. Damage over time stacks up on everything that chases you."

Capstone to buy: Summon Felguard. Demonology's nodes name an Imp, more Imps from kills, and a Felguard whose blows cleave two more enemies. They do not name a spell card and they do not change your starting spell. The class blurb is "Curses and fire. Damage over time stacks up," so the editorial fill from that pool is Corruption, Immolate and Curse of Agony.

Capstone text: "A Felguard joins your demons, and every demon's blow cleaves 2 more enemies near its target for a set % of it."

Core spell cards: Corruption, Immolate, Curse of Agony.

Passives to take first: Damage, then max health. The demons do the cleaving; your cards are there so something is ticking while they swing.

Full pool (11): Shadow Bolt, Corruption, Immolate, Curse of Agony, Rain of Fire, Hellfire, Death Coil, Searing Pain, Drain Life, Fear, Soulfire. Every milestone in this tree: Warlock talents.

Druid: Feral Combat

In game: "Moon, storm and growth. Roots, hurricanes and the steadiest self-healing."

Capstone to buy: Dire Bear Form. Rake starts every run with Swipe and Shred. Dire Bear Form then starts you with Shred instead of Wrath, adds 25% maximum health and 10% less damage taken, casts a free Swipe every 3 sec, and heals on each enemy that Swipe hits. The same tree's Cat Form capstone says you can't also learn Dire Bear Form, so this route takes the bear.

Capstone text: "You fight in Dire Bear Form: 25% more maximum health and 10% less damage taken. A free Swipe tears around you every 3 sec, and every enemy Swipe hits heals you for 0.3% of your maximum health. You start every run with Shred instead of Wrath. You can't also learn Cat Form."

Core spell cards: Swipe, Shred.

Passives to take first: Max health and damage reduction first. Rake and Dire Bear Form both grant them, and Swipe heals you for 0.3% of maximum health per enemy hit. Critical strike second: the Blood Frenzy milestone bleeds on critical strikes.

Full pool (12): Wrath, Moonfire, Starfire, Hurricane, Insect Swarm, Entangling Roots, Rejuvenation, Regrowth, Thorns, Swipe, Shred, Faerie Fire. Every milestone in this tree: Druid talents.

Shared passives to prioritize

Passive cards are the offers that are not in your class spell pool. Any class can see them, they have their own six slots, and a repeat pick ranks the one you own. The Oct 22, 2026 string read stored class spells and talent nodes. It did not store a passive codex with values, so this page orders them by the stat the card raises, which is the part you can check on the card itself.

  1. Damage, on every route. The capstone still spends the run casting the spells it names.
  2. The stat that capstone already uses. Max health and damage reduction for Protection and Dire Bear Form. Extra targets or area for Fury, Combat, Beast Mastery and Elemental. Cooldown reduction for Fury, where the route is more Whirlwinds. The class blocks above name the one to take first.
  3. Critical strike when a milestone says "critical strikes". On these nine routes, only Feral Combat does: Blood Frenzy bleeds on a critical strike, so crit is second there, after health. The milestone and capstone text for Fury, Protection, Beast Mastery, Combat, Shadow, Elemental, Frost and Demonology does not say it. If you respec into a tree whose text does (Holy Priest's Chastise, Fire's Hot Streak, Retribution's Art of War), move crit up this list.
  4. Pickup range, gold and experience last. They bring the next level sooner. They do not change what the capstone does. Buy them when the three cards offer nothing the route names, or when your six spell slots are already ranking the core cards.

Worn gear can add the same kinds of stats (damage, cooldowns, max health, critical strike, area, and others). That list is on the items page. A passive and a gear piece that name the same stat stack in the run; we do not have a published formula for how they combine.

FAQ

How do builds work in Azeroth Survivors?

A run holds up to six spells and six passives. Each level-up deals three cards and you keep one. Taking a spell or passive you already own raises its rank instead of filling another slot. Talents are separate: you spend them between runs.

What is the best class in Azeroth Survivors?

No win rate has been published, and the game is in alpha. From the class and talent text read on Oct 22, 2026, our editorial first runs are Warrior (Fury, Bladestorm) and Paladin (Protection, Hammer of the Righteous): free area damage on the Warrior, and health, shields and a free Consecration on the Paladin.

Should I unlock the capstone before other talents?

That is our route rule, and it is editorial. Milestones sit at 10, 20 and 30 points in one tree, and the 30-point node is the capstone. It is the effect that usually changes your starting spell. Points in a second tree do not turn that on. Respecs are free, so you can change the route between runs.

Where can I play Azeroth Survivors?

Only at wow.aethus.pl. The game is a free fan project by Aethus. Its launcher runs on that address and refuses copies and frames, so this page links there and does not embed the game.
